Amen!

And quality to last!

My '93 Laser is as solid as the day I bought it! My new to me '01 Avenger the same!

On top of the quality the performance is incredible too!

But I am preaching to the choir; you guys know!

Maybe I need to post this on the other guys thread...LOL

Get me a Chapter 11 t-shirt too LOL

Need4SpeedGTCS 03-04-2011 09:57 AM

explain to me what you mean when you say the 36 is continuing to set sales records,I see quite a few of them for sale in the classified section along with the F4s,

are you talking about dealer orders

Did I just hear the gloves hit the ice, EH?:angry-smiley-038:

Anybody know someone in Hutchins Texas??

cpiefer06 03-04-2011 11:14 AM

I want to go on record as saying that I feel Sunsation makes an EXCELLENT product and in the future I would love to own one myself! I meant no disrespect to any and all and should have thought about the larger picture over trying to get a rise out of a couple "intruders" to the Powerquest forum.

I don't think you have to worry; it has all been very entertaining.

Everyone is just passionate about their brands...it's the same b/s with sleds.

They make a nice boat- cant argue that!!

You need to stop saying sorry for trying to stir the pot....we are all doing it.....:lolhit:

REMEMBER- This is the BS thread in the Powerquest Forum and we are not on the Sunny Forum bashing them....only some adult (well, ok debatable!!) fun going on here.....:grinser010::ernaehrung004:

Man, I think the sled heads are worst!!!!

cpiefer06 03-04-2011 12:18 PM

All I will say is that we know what was going on but Sunsation had a different oppinion. Nothing bad but I understand their point.

AJ POWERPLAY 03-04-2011 01:16 PM

Someone from the Sunsation board read your post and ran back to camp crying wolf... that's why ChrisSunsation came on to clear that up. The other Sunny guys won't post on here anymore in fear of my picture editing... some of you haven't had the chance to experience it maybe I'll break the photo program out of retirement :D

As far as boat quality I grew up really liking sunsation along with all the other brands and almost bought one before I got my 290, its just that once you go on sunsation forums and see how 75% of them are its hard not to bash... its more we are bashing on the over-zealous sunsation owner than the actual boat itself. That being said, now that I've had my PQ and experienced the ride, sunsations are just too small and don't give that same ride your passengers can enjoy... so I more than likely won't own one

Then why did you just buy a Yamaha?

THE 288 KID 03-04-2011 02:04 PM

All I ever hear about is this powerquest ride. A ride to remember, top notch ride, best in class ride.

Do you think people give a rats ass that your boat is so heavy it goes through the wave instead of over it and a few others like mine? No. There just happy your the one that has a boat payment, bought the beer, and are burning and paying for gas at an unprecedented rate, and that there out on the water.

I'll have to say for the inland lake boating I do, and which I bought my boat for like you yourself did. I really don't see this ride factor coming into play. In my entire life I've never seen conditions on higgins lake that I could not run wot all the way across the lake in my boat, and I'm sure torch lake couldn't offer me any more of a problem to do so either. I've had 1 complaint on how my boat rode and it was cause that person had a back surgery a week prior and had no business being on a boat, or on one at those speeds.

And if you wanna talk about the big lakes and how the ride comes into play out there id agree, in 4 footers + it takes a LONGER boat, but the little sunny that could is leading those types of outings on you aswell with 4 "big water" trips last year to your 1. And ask D-rocka, I got on plane everytime despite the massive onslaught of washing washing style waves!

Where we drinking tonight?

no height jokes please, boatnt will get offended. Thanks for your considerations.

For what its worth I'm 6ft. No shorty syndrome here. Unless your talking about below the belt buckle, in that case you'd be correct.

cpiefer06 03-04-2011 02:59 PM

Now on to funner stuff... I am going to get one of those waterproof suction mount cameras for this spring... That should provide some great vids of the boat and I can't wait to have it for the Poker Run this summer. There is a video in the video section of a guy at LOTO with a Baja.

AJ POWERPLAY 03-04-2011 04:09 PM

Actually I know a special few ladies who really appreciated the ride difference... and I don't recall u trying to run me on Lk MI, you and Derek wanted to go back in...

Cpiefer- we have GoProHD cameras on order for this season as well, that paired with my phone should make for a ton of footage :D (those YouTube vids were shot with my phone it takes great footage)

You are the aquatic pimp fish, I'm truly happy you and your stable of bimbos love the ride of your larger than life Pq.

Back in the real world however.....

I would have loved run you on lake Michigan, but D-rocka and I were getting sick of watching you try to get that wave crusher on plane... it was like a train wreck, couldn't look away.

I look forward to showing you just what the 288 can do on the way by you this summer...

cpiefer06 03-04-2011 04:50 PM

thats it we might have to name the boat wave crusher... lmao

as far getting on plane we generally run in reverse so that way we get the splash from other wakes... keeps us cooler on hot days.

AJ POWERPLAY 03-04-2011 06:16 PM

It washed out twice in 4-5 ft waves so I had to angle into them sorry I don't have a 4000 lb kayak... it happens when u actually draft water, let's not type big on the internet :P. We all know who can take more water, and for MUCH longer

THE 288 KID 03-04-2011 06:32 PM

Our boats draft the same....

Huh? Kid, what did you write? No wonder the boat bunnies are with the other guys! Sounds like you have no draft! LOL!

You may want to edit that one!

I know exactly what's on fishers boat. They drank 3 cases of my beer and ripped the lid off my cooler 3 times.

What kind of son in-law would I be if I had a bunch of tramps on my boat tom? We both know your daughter(s) are the only ones I want on my boat.

If u look close on my boat that's actually ajfisher himself and his "life partner" wax.

I take care of my *****ez....

AJ POWERPLAY 03-04-2011 08:21 PM

Translation: "the lid comes off my cooler pretty easily and I was mad bc my girlfriend and I were being squares all weekend. I did however end up having 5 obese trailer trash guys on my boat for an impressive ride later on, they loved it :)"

As for the "tramps" comment, apparently when you have females on your boat that aren't your gf they turn are tramps, must be a Sunny thing bc on the PQ's the ladies are always welcome! This year the 290 was lucky enough to enjoy the company of a few models and even a Detroit Pistons Dance Team Member... not too shabby for a Chapter 11 boat eh??

I'm staying out of this!!
