Are you knocking down some garage walls to make it fit now? LOL.

I've been able to get storage for the boat year round so I don't have to leave it outside and its about 15 minutes away, but the wife wants to extend the garage so we can keep it at home!!
It is never ever straight forward......I need a new truck too!!

The ONLY thing I recommend changing is to send your accessory switch & ignition panels to Mitch and have him match it to the rest of your dash panels... he would make it look like it was from the factory

Hey there's a good idea.....never thought of painting the other panels!

If you want you can deliver the boat to me, I will deliver the boat to Mitch for you... then disappear into the sunset never to be heard from again

Verbi

Since I am very familiar with that boat and trailer I can tell you it weighs 14,600 lbs with a 1/2 tank of fuel and some supplies on it

Tim or Verbi,

What is the brand of the shower/faucets in the head compartment? Also, any ideas where the plumbing runs? This is something I would like to add to my boat.

Hey Guys,

Well I left Thursday at 2.30 pm and drove over 3000k miles to bring home my new to me 380,just got home Sunday 1.30 am with no boat in the back of the truck,
All I can say ( i hate to say it) is dont believe or trust anyone unless you go and see it for your self,What a piece of CHIT!!

saw the boat 3 years ago when Calvin wanted to buy it and it was beatifull,he has only put on 10 hours since,he assured me the boat was in the same condition,I believed this guy,He is a local guy and a friend works for him (not that my friend has anything to do with this) I figured why would he lie (it sure does not seems like he needs the money),the phucking engines would not even start,we planned this a couple of weeks ago you would think he would at least make sure the engines ran,BULLCHIT!!...he told me he had the boat detailed Saturday so I pick it up clean,BULLCHIT...

this gentelman owns a couple of businnes and one of them is a boat building/manufacture company so I trust it him,,shame on me.

But hey look it from his side,
he didnt loose 3 days of his life, over $1000.00 in fuel, and a very big let down,
he met us at the boat which was at his house,I drove 1500k miles to get there and I was on time but he showed up 25 minutes late, after spending about half hour and not one of the engines would start I had enough and told him the deal was off he looked at me like I was from out of space,

but hey he most likely went out for dinner and cocktails and I sat in a truck for 24 hours to get home, all good for him too bad for me.

So I guess I need to ask you guys this,do this people think we are stupid and just because we drive so far they got us and we will buy it anyway??

boatnt 02-27-2011 02:32 AM

The boat deal did not go the way I liked it but I would like to thank
Calvin (PWRQUEST) and Denis(inknppr) for driving down with me ,theres no way I could have done it by my self and thanks Denis for the use of your dually,
sorry to waste your guys time.

Need4Speed,

I am not sure of the brand of faucet in the head but I do know that the water lines run up the port side of the boat and cross under the steps going down into the cabin and then go up into the head.

Powerful Addiction 02-27-2011 04:06 AM

Verbi,

That trailer is heavy and very well made so I think that is what is adding all the weight over what the other guys have quoted. The good news in there is not trailer flex and it pulls like a dream - even with my 3/4 Ton Duramx in a cross wind.

That would not be a nice situation. As you said if it were me and someone was driving 1500 miles to buy something I would have cleaned it and made sure it started and ran.

Tim

Tim,

Thanks for the info...no rush for this project but definitely something I want to add on. I figured I would have to come back across from the galley which is okay; room to put in a water heater...Eemax makes an on demand heater about the size of a cigar box.

Thanks Again.

Hey boatnt,

That's too bad that your deal went south; I'm sure you'll find good 380 out there. I surfed the listings for almost a year and when I did find mine I lucked out. I flew to Minneapolis to view the boat; it was pristine and the owner even had some Canadian beer in the fridge for me! One of the pricier ones at the time but worth every penny.

Good luck in your Quest (pun intended)!

P.S. you've got some good friends to make the trek with you.

Wally 02-27-2011 10:26 AM

i still cant get over that the deal went down like that. Tom if you want to hook up at "The Works" some time this week let me know.

Word on the street is he's got his eye on a Sunsation locally... something about wanting to be a world champ deep down inside.

In other news I got my vacation slip back and officially approved for e.c.

But since tom won't acknowledge me on here anymore I don't think I'm gonna go, and forfeit my seat on the big chit to him as a piece offering.

No world champ here,
some of the sunsation guys are proud of their chit, guy has to boat up for sale for almost 2 years, tell me alot of people wanted and no one could come up with the money,I tell him I got the cash no bank involed and offer him 6k less then asking price and he tells me NO and good luck with my search,,whatever...

Oh did I mention that he said the nextrail trailer under that 32 is worth 15k,,,they must make them better for sunsation because when I bought one for my 29 PQ I only paid 5k.

verbi69 03-02-2011 09:48 AM

No sense in lowering your standards Tom, despite what Kid says and how he tries to persuade you!!

Those sunny guys are all on crack...ha ha ha!!!!

I hope you told him the price would be a lot less in the following two years that he tries to sell it...and a "good luck" to him......and Someone's gonna get a smoking deal!!!
