anyone ever heard anything about a predator 24' viper? a friend of mine is looking at one for his first boat. its older,, a 90 model i think. they are wanting to trade it to him for his rock crawler. it has new interior, a small cuddy, extension box, dual ram hydro steer, and a healthy 496 carb engine and the guy promises no more than 20hr on build. says it GPS 76. are they a solid boat or junk? ive never heard of them.
i never seen it hit 76 but ive seen it at 70 at 4900 rpms and iknow it had more. i just didnt want to open it up for the first trip up to grandhaven from holland i w as going to open it upon the way back but i didnt want to sink it cuz i knew it was taking on water so ididnt goover 50 on the wayback cuz i didnt want to sink it to the bottomcuz i didnt know how much damage was done..
it was a very sad day when he hit me cuz i have stuck 15k into fixing it up all winter long and only being able to take it out once.

Weather must be moderating as it moves east.
Yesterday morning in central IL is was -19 temp with wind at 20+, and gusts at 40mph. It was brutal. If you didn't have your face covered when you went out it took about 2-3 minutes before your skin started to hurt. I had to talk to my insurance agent at LOTO today and they said it was cold this morning, but got into the 30s today. I looked at my wife and wondered WTF are we doing here. Not that it is boating weather, but 33-34 is still way better than our high of 8 today.

Yea I'm guilty of that. I don't have computer so I'm doing all this off my phone. The only time I get to sit behind a computer is at the office and I don't work in the office much. So 90% of all my posts are of my phone. Also spelling is Terrible as well.
