hey josh yea i was going to but i parted that boat out this last week for more money. that boat was nice after i got done i had over 10k into that motor from top to bottom and 4k into interior and all new floors and everthing.i did it up real nice last winter but this last summer a guy in a 53 carver ran right into the side of me at coastguard. so it had like a 4 foot crack in the bottom of the boat and alittle bit of damge on the top where he hit me.

i never seen it hit 76 but ive seen it at 70 at 4900 rpms and iknow it had more. i just didnt want to open it up for the first trip up to grandhaven from holland i w as going to open it upon the way back but i didnt want to sink it cuz i knew it was taking on water so ididnt goover 50 on the wayback cuz i didnt want to sink it to the bottomcuz i didnt know how much damage was done..

it was a very sad day when he hit me cuz i have stuck 15k into fixing it up all winter long and only being able to take it out once.

PROWRENCH 01-07-2014 05:30 PM

-32 wind chill this morning. Man this sucks. We probably haven't heard from Verbi in awhile because even the internet is frozen in Canada.

Mentalpause 01-07-2014 05:41 PM

Weather must be moderating as it moves east. Yesterday morning in central IL is was -19 temp with wind at 20+, and gusts at 40mph. It was brutal. If you didn't have your face covered when you went out it took about 2-3 minutes before your skin started to hurt. I had to talk to my insurance agent at LOTO today and they said it was cold this morning, but got into the 30s today. I looked at my wife and wondered WTF are we doing here. Not that it is boating weather, but 33-34 is still way better than our high of 8 today.

Quite possibly the longest run-on sentence I've ever read :lolhit:

Thebossbultsma 01-09-2014 11:54 AM

Yea I'm guilty of that. I don't have computer so I'm doing all this off my phone. The only time I get to sit behind a computer is at the office and I don't work in the office much. So 90% of all my posts are of my phone. Also spelling is Terrible as well.

I prefer deer skin gloves...baby seal mittens are just no good when you're trying to open a beer!

Sure, something like that. Kind of. Not really.

Pwraddr 01-22-2014 07:44 PM

It was fun last year, except the start was a mess on lake MI....waves in all directions.

See you guys there!!

If you ride with Fish offer to pay for the beers not the fuel,he burns right threw it! :Score-101010: All kidding aside I give Fish PROPS he can sure operate a boat. Running in Boyne thunder with fish was outstanding, and worth every penny for fuel. Just make sure you bring your own life vest, or you will be rolling with the four dollar walmart orange special. :D

Questofpower 02-26-2014 08:41 PM

Well we are going to break a record this year 49 days with sub zero tempatures, this s$)t is getting old, I thought I was good for awhile went to the boat show in Miami for a few days the other week. Thought I could tough it out the rest of the winter. Well f that, going back at the end of the month.

PROWRENCH 02-27-2014 04:48 PM

Getting very old. Just got back from 2 weeks in Cancun on Sunday and I'm already tired of this cold crap. Hopefully it means a hot summer.

PQ260SX 02-27-2014 04:52 PM

Or at least higher great lakes levels…...

Those Great Lakes with all the ice this year are going to keep it cold for awhile. They are talking around here with a north wind and average of 5-10*f cooler around here until the end of June or July.

AJ POWERPLAY 05-01-2014 09:25 AM

Should have new power in the boat by the end of next week... Pics to come soon :cool-smiley-027:

Word on the street is PROWRENCH's woman had him install a governor block on the throttles about half way forward... :eekdrop:

PROWRENCH 05-01-2014 06:56 PM

Not likely, but I suppose I could use that as an excuse when you go blowing by with all that new power. I'm really starting to wonder if we're boating at all this year without sweatshirts

verbi69 05-01-2014 07:23 PM

Aj, glad to hear things are moving along!
It's been a cold long winter and we need some new pictures and video to drool over!!!

Was for sale a year or so ago, looked beat back then. Appears cleaned up quite a bit.

verbi69 05-02-2014 07:52 PM

Tommy, has your name all over it......you know you want it!!!

PROWRENCH 05-02-2014 08:31 PM

I spoke with the owner and got pics back when I was looking at vypers and it did not look to be in the best of condition. It would be a great candidate for Tom to make new again.

Need4SpeedGTCS 05-02-2014 08:43 PM

Seems priced cheap enough for a project boat...and that is just the asking price, who knows...Tom...

Drock78 05-03-2014 07:23 AM

Or a guy could just buy keiths that is already in pristine condition

verbi69 05-03-2014 09:07 AM

But then add in the customization factor and the "Tom" factor and the price adds up quickly.
By a 40k boat and put 20k in add-ones and updating I'm sure it would end up being pretty damn sharp and unique as well.

Keith's 340 is awsome and would be a great turn-key boat! I hope he gets top dollar for it!

For someone looking for a project the other sounds like a good deal.

verbi69 05-03-2014 01:47 PM

Doesn't seem like much moving on the Powerquest line or is it just me??
Do we have to give these away to move them?
