Giving this a serious look.
http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...-SLS-101948250
Has 400hrs on the engine, 496HO, owner stated that he had the drive re-sealed, trying to find out what that means?
There's some dings on the port side that were poorly repaired.

Rear bench needs new vinyl along with the inner pads on the both seats.

Tires look good.

The boat isn't up to my anal cleaning standards, but I just can't tell. The gel coat scheme IMO sucks. So I posted on RiverDaves Place to see if anyone knows a mechanic that can check the drive and the engine.
Any thoughts?

That's what I was thinking, 2005 boat, that looks beat up already. Yeah the drive cap looks very heated-up, props with calcium deposits, just a lack of maintenance. So I figured I'd low ball them and see what happens. I'm "ok" with the vinyl, but by the time I drop $$$ on an engine and drive survey, shipping, new vinyl and a vinyl wrap to cover up the gel, they are most not likely going to come down to my price. My only problem is that stand-up bow riders are rare, especially with a 496HO.......figures. Now the wife will have me back looking at mass produced, under powered, and over priced by a minimum of $30k Cobalts......suxs.
