Default Carpet

Is there a reason why the carpet is not secured with snaps? I think about 6 snaps would hold it in place. I'm getting tired of putting it back in place when I stop!!!!

I had PQ install snaps for me, got real tired of it slapping against my leg. I am supprised they don't do this to all the boats they sell. You can buy the snaps from boat US or West Marine.

My carpet also does not move. In fact sometimes I need to adjust it slightly and it is usually not so easy to do. Maybe they chnaged carpet vendors and used a different bottom so that they do not slide as much

The carpet in my 340 or my old 280 stays put too. It might shift about an inch during a weekend, but thats about it.
Have a "canvas guy" come down and put a few snaps in if you think it is necessary.

Personally I like not having snaps. Last weekend I had to get the carpet in the cabin real fast because it was about to pour rain. 15 seconds later the carpet was in the cabin nicely folded and the free fresh water wash down began!
