270 Laser, friend's of mine have a place on marco island, we take thier 34 proline out on the Gulf every time we go down there with them. We alway's talk about boating from marco to the keys, but we have not done it yet. Have you ever done that ride on your boat.

PWRQUEST no I never did have to change mine But I did have them checked and serviced (pulled both drives) every year. Boat was a 2000 with 265 hours on it when I traded. But if it is a reason to trade go for it.
I will sell you mine.

Cbgenrl,
What motor's do you have in your 29 PQ? My 29 PQ is a 2001 with (2) 310's and the best I can get is 64.7 mph on gps. All the one's I have seen for sale there is not very many with 454 (385) hp or the 502's. I am not a BAJA person, but it seems like they put big horsepower in thier 29 footers.

Thanks PWRQUEST! Well I can't really tell you much about the boat performance wise. I have had it out for all of 15 minutes before winterizing (just bought it). Venomous (his tag name) was the previous owner and says he has seen 69 on GPS. With all of the crap I have to carry having 2 boys under 5, I'll likely see the 65 that you do.
The only mods this boat has to my knowledge is the flame arrestors are larger then stock to let it breath better.....
