Re: My new PQ
wally, I had a 29 for 10 years It was a 93 it was powerquests catalog boat. It had 454 mags, the fastest props were stock mirage 23 s. (72-73 mph) in salt water. Had to hang it though. They were great bay props. Mirage 25 s are about 2 mph slower but they really load up the motors. The best rough water/ocean props for your boat are Hydromotive 22s. You will lose about 2 mph on top end, but in the rough they really hook up, no blowout they were like wheelie bars on a funny car!!! I now own a 2003 340 vyper, it also was powerquests cataloge boat ( purple/green) w/ 496 mag ho s spinning a pair of bravo 1 30s at 5100 and 82mph (in salt) I know your boat pretty well feel free to e-mail me for any info once the weather breaks. Again good luck its a beauty. Kleenswept @aol

Kleen Sweep,
My Goodness, you definately get your use out of a boat .
I wish I would keep mine that long.
Them 340's really haul with twin 496's. How do you like having the closed cooling? A friend of mine has a 29 envision with a 496 (1) and he love's the easy winterizing.
