Hey Ron,
The QIV-X looks like it may have a diffuser ring stock. I only bring that up because I know that some boats have a tough time getting up on plan with a QIV.

The QIV-X is similar to the Bravo I but it has a shorter diffuser ring so it can be a little more difficult to get on plane than the Bravo I.

Hi Julie:

I spoke with Will this a.m. and decided to go with the Hydromotive QIV-X 25P. He was very helpful. Unfortunately, you did not have the prop in stock and I had to go to hydromotive directly. I really appreciate your and his help. Thank you. Will let everyone here know how I make out when I get it next week. Thanks again.

Ron

Well.. I tried the QIV-X 25p and the boat couldn't turn it. Sent it back and tried a P5-X 23p and the boat runs really great mid-range however, doesn't get too much more than 5150rpm's doing 68 . So I'm sending it back and they are going to Rec Lab finish it and soften the cup. Should get me right at my max speed of around 72, great mid-range and good hole shot. Just love the ride the 5 blade gives. My stock B1 24p hits the rev. limiter at 72.
