Hi, i have a 1997 38 ft. powerquest avenger, non stepped hull,9200 lbs. stock 502 mags, b-1 drives, 25p mirage plus 3 blades. The boat tops out at about 67-68 mph g.p.s.@ 4900-4950 r.p.m. on factory tach.I cruise allot around 2600 -2700 rpm which is 32 mph on gps. I ran from the salt river in lake st. Clair to cedar pt. marina in lake Erie at 32 mph and burned 60 gals. almost 1.7 mpg.The question i have is are 4-blades worth a try on a non stepped hull boat?

Yes 4blade props are worth a try. However, I would concider the Revolution 4 propellers before the Bravo 1 props. A Labbed 25 will work great. We have these and Bravo 1 props to test with if you are interested.
