Default Outboard Height

Need expert advice on set up. SHOULD I RAISE THE OUTERS SO THE PROP SHAFTS ARE EVEN WITH BOTTOM LIKE CENTER ??? (originally set up with quad 200's - outers were 20" shafts and inners were 25" shafts_

37 Midnight Express
triple 225 optis (outers 25 center 30")
24" bracket
12,500lbs w/approx 100g fuel
22 Bravo ones
5900 rpm
top speed 56
cruise 4000 41mph
4500 45mph
(Good all around performance)

fuel tanks -middle of boat stern to console /console to bow and side tanks console to bow.(1,000 gallons-don't use capacity)
Boat is stern heavy.

Tried Mirages, Bravo Ones and Rev fours. 58mph w/ Rev fours @ 5400 RPM
sluggish hole shot

Thanks Tony

Hey Tony,

Give it a shot and we'll compare notes post the testing. Your boat has been a pleasent surprise already compared to the norm.

We know we can improve the current hole shot / ability to get on plane.

Brett this is a post from BROWNIE. THE KING HAS SPOKEN. NOW WHAT!!!! ONE MORE ENGINE

While you might get a little more speed with the outside engines raised, in rough water or running hard in beam seas, the outside engines will clear the water a lot, and beat the hell out of the shafts and gears. I would leave it alone.
