Default cavitation problem

i have a 24' chapparal villian with a 540hp 502 with a Bravo 1 1.50:1 ever since i built this motor i have had a prop with the prop cavitating right as the boat gets on plane and when its put into a hard turn. i have tried diff props up to a 30" and a 29 that was cupped big time i think now the prob may lie with the hight of the drive. wanted to try a 1" spacer just not sure if thats enough. thanks for your input.

What prop do you currently use? More blades may help, spacing may help. Your boat prefers bow lift to stern lift. More blades could also be detrimental. give us some performance numbers and more info to work with.
