Default Prop Removal Tool

Who is the manufacturer or who sells the tool that holds the prop still while you remove the nut? It looks like a bent 2 prong fork with a handle. I thought I had seen it in magazines, but I can't find it in any back issues.

Thanks!

I believe it's prop stop. Their website is www.propstop.net or call 1-888-873-3302.

Cool! Thanks for that. Mine is difficult to get to when it is on the lift as I don't have any access to the rear of the boat. I'm hoping this will be a better solution than trying to get a piece of wood, or I use the rubber coated handle of a hammer, wedged in while trying to get the wrench going in the other hand.

Thanks!

I was always told that you should never shut the boat off when in gear.
