Prop size for a Sonic 386 w/502 Stock MPI's?

Hello. I am running 26p's 4 blade and only getting about 64 mph @ 4400 rpm max. The manual says "mid 70's" with stock power. Any ideas on what props I should be running? Thank you!

RPM seems low. 28 probably the right pitch IMO

What power? And if you're only spinning 4400 with 26, 28 will be even worse.

Stock 502 MPI should be 415 hp. Totally agree you need to come down on the pitch #'s, Also I would have to ask how well are your motors running ?

Mid 70's? unfortunately that is not possible with your power....

358's with 500's run mid 70's. You probably have a 66-67mph boat.....maybe try 24p props.....maybe 23p.
