Yes full step hull with the pad at the transom... A 28P was exactly what I was thinking.

I do have a shower... And I did cut the pick up tube as short as I could when I installed it.... That one baffled me on the last boat I had!
If the pick up tube is installed too deep it will mess with the prop in a bad way.
