The ratio is stamped on the sticker on the sides of the drives.
If its 60mph @ 4000 rpms, you prob have 1.50's. If its 65mph, you prob have 1.36's

This is absolutely not true.

The rpm depends on the fault/ issue.

There are different levels of guardian mode that restrict power to different percentages or at certain rpm depending on the issue the pcm detects.

I have 496HOs and have run 28P bravos up to around 4800 rpms and 26P to around 5000 rpms in freshwater depending on the load trimmed out to about 5 or 6.

I had an issue a couple of years ago with not being able to get above about 4400 rpms. No alarms and no codes. Changing the plugs fixed the problem.

Using boat as is with 28 pitch only 2 clicks with trim.

5 or 6 way to much trim boat is step hull going to try 26 pitch as mentioned
