I sure can imagine them on a rental fleet!!! Its a great way to hit an unsuspecting renter with a hefty fee! We got hit for a bent prop on a pontoon rental once! We left the dock and toured the lakes for a few hours. I have been boating there for 10yrs and know them like the back of my hand....i know for a fact i never hit anything but when we get back first thing the guy did was go straight to the back and lift the motor to look at the prop and BAM! you owe me $250 for a prop you bent! How can i argue that since we didnt check it before hand? I learned my lesson to check the boat out before they we leave now! I almost do a marine survey on it! Look in EVERY nook and cranny to see for any damage under the floor boards/ bulkheads etc! Freakin crooks everywhere!

I'm just saying....If boattest.com and Sovereign have a hard-on for these props, put some skin in the game and Sharrow prop the fleet!

My boat runs about the same up top with my old 16”x22.5ish x3 Suzuki props (old style 21.5 that I had cupped, which the newer ones come with) and Bravo 1 22s. I think with a perfect B1 FS there should be 1 or 2mph up top. Keep in mind I only run high 50s.

If you want less stern lift you can cut the flare off the end, or get the B1 FS which already has it cut off, plus thinned blades. Supposedly these run small so you’ll want to go up in pitch.

4900 bucks, four thousand nine hundred united states dollars. Buy alot of gas for that, just keep spinning the aluminum black max prop ya got on there now and have a great summer.
The shammo's/shillo's or whatever they're called will be outlawed minutes after it ice cream scoops to death the first manatee that gets git by one

So a yr plus later we’re still talking about whether it actually works or not?

Would that not be our answer?

I read up on them and their design when they first surfaced.

Their claim to fame, and successful market is in ocean going ships.
So, displacement hulls, fully submerged, low speed applications.

You can imagine what they would spend for any measurable increase in efficiency.

I have also read several tests on family/performance/ski boats and they do seem to show improvement in low end and mid range.

But again, for our junk, a yr layer and we’re still debating it 😉
