We bout got everything drilled fitted. Then pulling everything to restore the bilge. Here's a shot of the 5 1/2" cannons sticking out the transom we will have to trim these a little. You can't see the rest till we restore the bilge. (Sorry) Heee

Bob has started laying out the dash for the 22 Auto Meter monster gauges / 2 drive one monster tab indicator / Garmin 740S GPS. Then the wiring process. Tilt steering will be Port side. This cat has 4 aluminum fuel cells so we have 4 fuel gauges and a good range for when we head out to the Bahama's for a cold beer.

This is what I'm making the exhaust trim rings out of. I have 3 of these Aluminum 5.75 ID X 7.75 OD X 2" Wide.
I plan on cutting 2 of them in half for the 4 outside transom rings 1" thick.
The other one in 4 pieces 1/2" thick for the inside transom.
Then drill & tap the inside transom side of the outside 1" rings about 3/4" depth for the bolts to screw into but not all the way thru.
This will hide the holes from the outside for a clean look.
The bolts will go thru from the inside bilge rings and screw into the outside ring tapped holes to snug up everything. This should give the 5 1/2" cannons a bolder look.
I'm hoping.
Probably polished and anodize clear but not sure on that..

Finally got my trim rings machined for the 5 1/2" cannons. We beveled the outer and inner of the outside rings, drilled 6 holes on the inside of the outside rings so no bolts will show from the outside of the rings and inserted Heli Coils in the holes so the aluminum won't strip out. Now they are off to be anodized

Looks Sweet!

Future projects you may like these better, and they are replaceable.
Use them on Aerospace all the time.

I got my exhaust rings back from the anodize guy today. I had them done in 2 staged black. The drives / tunnel tab / and rings are all black. I'm very happy the way they turned out.
