Keep up the good work! Where does the hull come from? Any relation to the Baja Force 265?

Seebold made these hulls in house. They are known for their race hydroplanes and built these pleasure boats for a while then sold them to Emerald boats. Its a pretty shallow hull with a pad, notched transom and a step on the outer chine. Its definitely not a rough water boat. She really liked 1-2 foot chop.

Here's another update on her. We finished up the glasswork last weekend! I went through a total of 20 gallons of resin in this pig. Shes solid as a rock now though. I ordered some new gauges and pretty stuff this week so I can move on to re doing the dash once the engine compartment is painted and the motor is back in. Slowly but surely!

I made a jig to locate the new stringers before I ripped out the old ones. Worked out really well

I got bored for a bit and it looks like I'm gonna be able to buff her back for the season

yea it felt really good to get past the glassing. Now its time to do all the pretty cosmetic work.

Great work! I assume it is gel on the outside and not paint? If so get the Fountain or Youth products they are the best I have found to use on gel coat to bring it back to life.

yea its gel. I'm probably gonna be using the 3M stuff I use for buffing out my paint jobs. I sanded it with 1000 1500 and buffed it and it came out real sweet. Next year I plan on repaint the whole boat. I just want it to look decent for this year

Painted the bay this weekend. Still needs one more coat to fully cover. Next weekend I'm gonna prep the outer transom to repaint. Got a bunch of useless holes in the back that need to be filled and primed.

Got some awesome progress done this weekend. I wanted to paint the transom while everything was stripped so I painted the back of the boat and got the transom assembly and other stuff installed. I also had to fix a crack on the bottom that was bugging me from a previous poor repair. Here's some pics of the before and after paint pics. Next year I will paint the rest of the boat with the silver and dark blue theme.
