Watch out about putting your MSD box on the manifold (I realize the manifold is designed to mount it there). The electronics are completely potted internally but heat and ultrasonic vibration are MSD killers. Even putting it on a bracket off of the engine can act like mounting it to a tuning fork and over time shake it to death. Best place for it, is high and dry on the stern where it can stay cool and have the least about of ultrasonic vibration.

very good job man
I think my next project will be scarab
I have a question
What paint you used to paint the hull?
Is the process same as with painting cars? Or for painting boat is special paint?

thanks! we used water that new PPG waterborne paint. its still requires a clear coat. i think the clear coat was solvent. the paint job is 3 years old now and it still looks like new. im no expert but really there no difference between a car and boat. its all about the prep work. and using a good brand like PPG. get it all sanded correctly and primed and blocked it again. base coat then clear. he laid the clear on heavy. like 3 coats i think. ill post some pictures.
