Wow, you would never of know the difference. I'm glad you told me that about the pricing and I hear you on the loseing your azz part. Where did you have the trim and tab switches custom made?

I'll bet that boat looks better now than it did new. Good job

The motor copartment is a little trashed working on rewire of engine fabbed some aluminum brakets and plates for the floor that are at the powder coaters and lengthning the stainless marine risers this winter I will post some pics when its done It should look pretty trick, at least I hope.

Just saw this boat the other day at Hardy Dam and its sweet up close Everything well done

hey what hp are you running and top speed, prop shaft to vee bottom, I am looking at one now sounds like the drives are to deep on a few. 5'' should be good for most deep vee boats. are there any single 28s running over 75?? cause 65 with 500 is slow. I have about 1050hp to put in a new boat, 30sutphens will run mid 90s, I just don't want to spend a lot of coin on a 80 85mph boat, I have a konrad with a box so I WOULD START AT 4'' and if needed drop down . any thoughts

AIR TIME 11-04-2009 08:03 PM

looks like we are going with a 3 1/2 to 4'' prop shaft height with the KONRAD ACE DRIVE ON MY NEW BOAT:coolcowboy:. JONS old boat:coolcowboy:. the drive has a ext box with 8'' of set back, I have 3 props two work with a 32b1/30px5/ 26b1,I hope the 26 will only be used with the back up motor at 670hp. the main motor is a DEAN GELLNER master piece 572 to be set at 1000 to 1100 hp on pump gas, then more on race gas if needed for kilo runs and to say she breaks a 100mph. thats my goal. and would love to do some racing, but after seeing walt team TKO a friend get kicked around opa last yr and this yr sbi , I will keep it to kilo, pokerruns and the classic race from miami to bimmi back. also lots of fun over night runs to block island:evilb:. whats the fastest 28 twin and single saber anyone know there speeds. and will new ones be built, if this 21yr old boat can be reliable as a diesel:coolcowboy: with DEANS MOTOR AND KONRAD and people see they can run 80 or 90 or 100 in this design without steps mabe it wouldhelp a come back, you could lighten up the boat with lighter e glass or s glass and new foam cores. if I need to do a new motor hatch it will be 50lbs lighter or more thats what I did on my baja made a light weight hatch with scoop. might need one for the blower and I want to lkeep the stock one. I may do it like the 41saber. love being a saber owner already now we need to get owners to make new ones cause I need polos, sweatshirts, tees haaha. later ART

thinking more of a single motor fastest and if it breaks a 100 on 93oct then turn the boost up race gas and go for it. haahah I would love to do some kilo runs. well talk to yah later.

He will be installing a Konrad drive.

Thanks in advance
