Ya, i undid the clips and couldnt budge the sob's. I'll have to try some peratrating oil to loosten them. I didnt spend too much time with it and figured i would ask while i was in front of the computer. Thanks. Will post some pics next week, ive only got a couple shotty ones right now. Thanks for the help!

Looking good, your a couple steps in front of me. Doing some minor glass repair today and preping for primer come monday/tuesday. Hope to have paint laid by the end of the week. Shooting for completion by Memorial. Actuall it WILL BE DONE by memorial, period. I like deadlines

Jdub & Wieland, great work. As much as I love to see other Sabers in my home waters of West Michigan, it is really cool to see them spread around the country a bit and to see guys spending the time and money to take them to a modern and better than new level from their original form from the 80's when Saber was first in business. I looked at both of your boats in the early 2000's and I have to say, what you guys are doing to those boats is simply awesome.

Yes, Thanks. Its really fun working on this boat. I am keeping it the same paint scheme. Since it was the first one i thought it should be kept original looking. im kinda partial to red anyway. I also was able to get the cables loose with some penatrating oil. Will show some pics of the progress. Hopefully she will be painted by next weekend. Appreaciate the complements. MIKE

LOOKIN GOOD GUYS ! Interesting how they changed the chine from the original which has a very narrow chine ... to the later 28's that had a 3" chine if I'm not mistaken ?
