Well- as you can see in the photos- I need a new oil pan. Once again no one in town has a gen V, so I have to order it. Again. Once I get that done I am pretty much good to go- I was thinking of running the tranny cooler line off of the thermostat housing and then out the side like yours is(kind of like a telltale). I have to figure out what to buy to cleanly mount the remote oil filter, and I should be good to go. Another question- I have Mallory Unilite distributors, do I need to run a resistor?

I once ran Mallory ignition with and without the resistor. If I remember right I blew the module (eye) out (and I was not using the resistor) so when I went to replace it the tech said the resistor helps protect the module-which can be fragile if the system is not set up right. So run the resistor. I would also run a smaller fuel filter between pump and carb-I have had bad luck here in the past and the filter before carb would have saved me much trouble. Are you running a "boat oil pan" or a car oil pan?

Well, lets start that debate right now because I haven't ordered anything yet- the stock one is a marine 7 quart. The ones I got(wrong) were racing 6 quart. If I was running a 700 hp supercharged monster that would be one thing, but these are just 468's with all the good stuff(heads, crank, rods, pistons, etc) so what do you guys think?
