Pro, I have a 22.3 scarab. Based on Patchy's math, It'll do about 358 miles per hour, but here on earth it dings 70, not GPS'd. I wanted a Larry Smith, but the wallet ruled that out. I think this boat has been a wonderful way to delve into the realities of what it takes to own a "performance" boat. Can hardly imagine these big boats, and what it takes to keep em alive and well.
I was going to buy that same Scarab last year.Drove clear out to Misourri last summer from Colorado and did a sea trial and the motor blows up 10 minutes into the sea trial.He had a 502ci procharged motor that detinated due to poor quality fuel.The entire motor grenaded.
Oh well....worked out for the best.Got my current boat.

That's a nice Scarab you have.The lines on that boat have never been duplicated.
