Default 21 Ft Scarab Excell Hatch lift

Hello,

I am looking for a picture of a hatch on a scarab. I have a 21 ft and it has a pvc pipe around the engine cover lift arm. It is slotted so you can pick up the engine cover if the batteries go dead. I need a new sleve, does anyone know where I could get this pvc pipe in stainless or some other material?

Here is a picture of what I have.

Default Help I need info

I have purchased my 3rd scarab this one is a 21 Excell and the hatch cylinder/linear actuator is missing. I don’t know what length or weight capacity to get. I’m fat and can’t squeeze my butt in the compartment with the hatch closed so I don’t know what measurements I need. If anyone out there can give me the length of It and possibly pictures of installation position I would very great full. Thanks in advanced.

Not sure who made those for Wellcraft but they are easy to remake just go to Home Depot get some PVC drill the holes at the end of the slots and cut slot with jig saw. Regards Dan

I appreciate your reply and that info is very useful but I still need the measurements and position of the actuator so I can order a new one to install it
