Default Proper trim adjuestments

Bought my 2000 Scarab Sport a few months ago and have almost everything set up. Noticed two problems when operating. First, the sterring has play. Posted a separate thread to address that.

Second, It tends to be pretty loss when operating at mid-range speeds. Even when you compensate quickly for the play in steering, it wanders quite a bit. Of course, when you adjust the engine trim, it changes it's ride, doesn't necessarily clean up the wandering.

Should I be using some bow planes for downward resistance, then use more engine trim? Open to your comments.

Thanks,
Jon

Sounds like a steering issue that is turning into a safety issue. Have it checked out real good. Hope it's not expensive.
