There’s not. On this We used long blocks with 80 grit on the slick sand to get it straight (lots of work), then urethane primer for the pinholes, sand scratches, and small imperfections.

Looking like no paint today on the deck. We just lack a little getting the hull sides ready for primer and we’ll prime them and the places on the deck that need primer at the same time. This time next week we’ll be much further along...

Thank you!
I got the hull sides and some places on the deck primed yesterday. The next photos you see should be of the deck painted...

The style lines on the Scarab 38 are so cool even in today's high tech, high $$ market. When its finished, people will flock to check it out when you pull in. Very nice.

Thanks guys.
Well Let the games begin. After fixing pinholes after fixing other pinholes after we thought we had all the pinholes winston laid down sealer and a base of white. Tomorrow we will probably spray the violet color that goes from the bow to all the way around the cockpit, then the teal and probably the fade on both sides of the bow rail last, then clear. We’ll see how it goes. 😀

Good folks out there in Iowa (The Blower Shop)
They have helped me out of a jam more than once.

Alkydigger is good too. They’re a Blower Shop dealer in Nashville and they carry a full line of parts if you need something overnight.
