I talked to the guy who owns it now. He gave me information on the guy that built the boat and ran it before. It's supposed to have run 100 miles an hour with those drives. I meant to call the guy that built the boat but haven't gotten around to it. The guy that's out owns the boat now is on this board.

Come to think of it the guys handle on here is crazy canuck. I think he said the boat was running 1000hp per side to go that fast which sounds about right. I think he bought the boat minus power and drives. Cool looking boat for sure.

Dan, are you talking about extra bungs next to the existing ones with straw already installed just capped at the top? These straws apparently were made of pot metal or something really light and are ate up big time. I was considering making them of stainless. Thoughts on that?

[Edit]
I just looked thru my private messages, and crazy canuck sent me the info last summer on the guy who built the boat and the previous owner. I might just give them a phone call.

Yeah sounds like that might be too far In the future, although if you come down I-59, you should stop in and see me anyway. I'm about 15 minutes off the interstate.

It was starting to age again from all that California sunshine you guys have so I went through it also. I'm assuming it's been there since day one or very close to it. I think its pretty cool.
