pic of 21 I had a 1991 Scarab Excel. Once owned Tim Robbie. Owners of the Miami Dolphins. When I bought it , it had already been custom painted to match the Dolphin colors as well as a Miami Dolphin under the rear hatch since it was rigged supposedly by him with a 225 Yamaha. The boat was great untill it sunk. Now I have a 26' 1990 CV w/twin 200 Yamaha's.

I have a question regarding the fasteners on the windshield does anyone know if they are through bolted or just screwed in? I guess really just want to know how big of a job is replacement. Thanks

On my boat that fasteners are just like a big bolt type. One side is the screw with the other the bolt but both are flush. Not hard at all to replace however finding the actual fasteners from wellcraft can be challenging. I had one person offer me $100 for 3 of them for his Scarab. I'm sure there is a hardware store solution in there somewhere.
I took my entire windshield off the boat in about 10 minutes.

It appears that the windshield on this one is in an aluminum frame and there doesn't seem to be any radical bends that would require forming. You can easily take them out, make templates & cut new ones. A tip: put the new ones in on the boat (as opposed to doing it on a free standing frame). I'd use acrylic. Lexan (polycarbonate) is more impact resistant but scratches way easier.
