Just got an 86 Scarab I from a friend who neglected it over the last 10 years. Today I was cleaning it out and noticed that where the motor mounts bolt to the fiberglass "frame", they have punched through .

I am also in need of a windshield. In my case, all the surrounding railing is missing as is the hardware. I borrowed the boat 2 years ago and it had a plexiglass crappy simple windshield on it. Some girl slipped and fell on it and it broke. I took it home and copied it on lexan sheet and painted it black. Unbreakable, but I would love to have the original one to copy. Anyone who takes their old bad one off and trashes it......I would love to have it and copy it. Or even just the dimensions of how tall at certain points around.

Here is my Scarab after I took off the tinted air deflector that wraps around the whole windshield. I took it off hoping too pick up more speed but the difference in speed I picked up wasn't worth the amount of wind and bugs that blew in my face so I've put it back on... LOL

Good looking boat. Contact Donnie (marineclean) about his oxidation remover and polish.

Got one this year- 86 Scarab Excel. Brand new complete 350 MPI w/70 hours. Gelcoat in perfect shape after buffing. All other aspects in great shape.

Got specifications from the Wellcraft website. All boats there, you just have to figure out how to use the site (www.wellcraft.com)

May have to sell this boat if I don't start using it.
