Hey Greg, i'm not familiar w/the 21 scarab but if its just a piece or two of Plexyglass you can get some and use your old widshiled to cut a new one your self.

If you don't like the way I drive stay outside the orange and white buoys..............
What kind of motor does yours have?
My windsheild is trashed too. If you take it to a plastic shop they can cut out a new one for you, thats what I'm going to do.

Mine has a stock 260hp. in need of a tune up. If you find anyplace to do the windshield could you post it here, I will do the same. I've almost condidered painting it black till I find a replacement. What are you running engine and prop. I think mine is either overproppped or something is out of whack, I can only get 4 grand and it seems to slip alot.

Problems with cracked windshields seem to be very common on this model. I know some owners that have replaced the windshield and it wasn't that expensive. Mine also have cracks and the previous owner painted it all black. I think it looks reasonable good, but would like to have it replaced.

I spoke to a friend of mine in the glass and mirror business. He said that the windshields are nothing more than smoke lexan with a polished edge. The crazing and cracks just comes from exposure to the sun and stress. He said it would be no problem to make a template and buy enough lexan, polish the edge and bend it around ourselves. We are going to do this next spring. I'm thinking it is going to be like screwing a live alligator to the boat. Should be interesting, I'll let you know.
