New Scarab owner (Almost)
#33
Joe, thanks
The offer for the ride is still open if you get up this way (Yes I'm serious). The boat is a regular ole every day looking 1994 32' Baja. It generally makes some pretty high priced and hot looking boats look silly. Upgrading engines again and did some hull work this year.
Jb, bashing is reseved for people WITH boats. www.offshoresucks.com is available for your registry.
TSSTEPH, enjoy. really its all in fun but is does get old for some of us Baja owners after a while.
"if you can pass my boat in 4-5 foot waves you probably paid a lot more than I, if not read my transom "NUFF SAID""

Happy New Year to everyone!!!

I always felt that the 29 Scarab and 28 Sonic were the best way for a guy to experience twin engines without having to spend a fortune. Too bad niether boat is made anymore.
I'm not sure there are any boats left that fill the gap.

summer will be here soon and we won't have time for crap, I personally like both boats, I just prefer Baja, maily for the room and options, why did they drop the scarab line? I know a couple of guys at travis with 2 with 38's and one 43 , the 38 is custom paint and 575's , they are all sweet, but to me a boats a boat as long as you can break even or make money on it. I change boats every year and have made a little every time. That makes it even more enjoyable

Thanks everyone. I take possession tonight. My Baja is on ebay and is VERY close to the reserve. I have had no less then 40 emails with questions from what appear to be very interested buys. Some have specifically stated that are waiting until the end of the auction to bid.
I will post some pics as soon as I can.
