love it! Now if you could only make it a reality!!
It won't be this winter but it very well may be next winters project to build one! I saw one made of 1/4 aluminum on an Excalibur and it looked real good!!

May be.....
I did a much smaller scale of one w/identical lines and it was a piece of cake. I restored an ancient 16' Checkmate form the era that the windshields were aluminum frame, way too high and almost straight up. Looked like they were built for the front of a house boat.
Totally destroyed the lines of the hull.
I started by cutting it down and reassembling it several times trying to get the look I wanted. After failing at that, I mocked up what I wanted (in shape, style, lines etc) in cardboard, taped it all together and then used it as a pattern.
Transferred that to 3/8" plywood (remember it's not going to be bellow water line anyhow) and wrapped each individual piece in glass before assembling. Painted it to match the boat and it came out awesome. Totally made the boat when installed.

The 475"s did not come standard in the S-Types. The standard base motor would be the 330 HP. The 475 Turbo was based on the 370HP engine with the Gale Banks turbos pushing 5 PSI. The blocks were LS-6 long blocks with low compression forged pistons, rectangular port heads. The exhaust manifolds were the old log manifolds. They were always hooked to a SSM 2 drive. They were rated at 475 HP at 5800 rpm, but like any turbo motor, turn up the boost and hold on.

I had a 1986 panther, the s type was the predessor of the panther. Same hull and deck, older S's had portholes, panthers were more offshore race bred. Some came with windshields, most came with fairings. I had 400 Cyclones (if you don't know what that is , look it up), TRS with cones, CMI headers Holley 850 dp's, raised x dimension, spinning hydromotive quad 28's - 78.6mph.
If it is a KV boat it will have KV in the serial # (not very many KV panthers, most were 38's)
The answers are out there, you just have to research.
