I've dabbled with the concept of selling my mint Tiger, but the thought of someone leaving it in the water for over 48 hours makes me think it would be better to just be buried in it....

Go for the TS, forget the Straight bottom. Any notion that the TS porpoises is absurd. Sounds like a baja dealer.

As long as we are on this subject. Do all 3 washers go on the outside, ie. just under the nut? Is it: Prop, small washer, large washer, small washer in that order?

It's a great flag job, but I know someone who had one set up just like that, bought it new, couldn't keep it running, sold it a went with a TS with bulldogs. He had all the money to keep it running,...

I had one replaced a few years ago on my TG by a guy in Boca. I think the name was "the stitcher", or "stitcher man". He charged me $350- for it.

Don't know about other than the 94's, but Phil Lip advised me that mine which I traded in on a TS was rotten, and he had seen others in my range and advised Gig.

Check the transom closely on the 94 TG. Cig had a lot of probs. It's worth it to pull an exhaust tube to check for rot.

Had a 38TG, have a T/S - 575'sci's

T/S is a smoother boat in big water, and engines are bulletproof at 80-85mph, 150 hrs later. This would compare to 750's in a non-T/S which would burn about 20%...
