Thank you for the response, seems like a good practice. Curious if others with high horsepower applications rotate the motors every month or couple months when not in use as seems to be common.

yes , with certain applications it makes it much easier to fill without taking the plug out. hence my thought on weather it causes air pockets or not without removing the plug while filling.
