The break in oil has zinc in it which is recommended for cam bearings....most modern oils have lower levels of zinc but there is some out there still

I personally run rotella 25w40 in my engines

The previous owner was a friend of a friend one engine had a rod replaced then never assembled the top end...

since my cutouts are already done i found a attachment for my drill that assures perpendicular holes which is a lot cheaper than the merc kit so im going to get...

I did the area with for the steering arm myself too...glass guy seemed to be in a rush at the end

gonna get some tools and such and try to allign other motor tomorrow and then redo the troublesome...

i run the same boat with twin 350's...has factory captains choice and rubber flappers never had an issue with slowing down fast or even having waves crash over the back.
