Really enjoyed this thread it's a long winter in MI...... Having fun with my 28 Velocity just touches 90 in the right conditions... all the cats I boat with run 100 + next boat will be a cat !!

Thanks, It was a little pricey and the ladder too,.....but it's so easy getting in and out now compared to my old set up, the ladder is a 3 step , I just had knee surgery Aug 1 so I had a good reason...

Switched to Amsoil now this happened

Have a 540 bulldog with blower , 6lbs boost, intercooler, 400 hrs on motor, switched from Merc oil to Amsoil............ 1st time out my friend running next to me notices a slight smoke plume trail...

Thanks,....I like the new look pretty much and it does deflect some of the wind,..... but it definitely slows me down getting to the bow quickly, I use to sit on the dash and swing my legs around...

I agree Custom Marine carpet is a great company and has decent carpet....Just to add another possibility check out Corinthian Marine carpet. They have slightly better carpet but a much better rubber...
