Oil pan fitting 7.4

I have a 88 7.4 putting back together after a couple years and on the oil pan there is a drain plug and the otherside has a brass fitting for like a oil cooler line but can't figure what goes there ....

049 heads / peanut heads

i have a set of bare 049 heads.

Will the valves and springs work out of peanut heads on the 049's?

I cant see spending all the money on inconel valves for the 049 when i can buy a new heads...

building 496 stroker need help picking parts

just pulled my 330hp 454.
im going to put in a stroker kit and trying to figure out which heads, intake, carb to go with and what compression. advice please.
