I owned a 24 for many years and totally loved the boat! Ran it with 2.5's and it was a very well balanced boat.
Would fly straight and level but still there were times you could get in trouble...

The 24 mentioned with the engines moved out 1-1/2", how did it perform and handle...

Interesting. Your diagram shows drilled and taped into the exit water side of the exhaust plate. Wouldn't you want it on the inlet water in the exhaust plate?

Which surge actuator do you have? Mine is a Titan and has no mechanical lock out. I had to make a steel block that I put in the actuator and its a pain in the but dealing with.
