Sunstation Stitching on engine cover has some loose threads

These are not real bad yet, but with some threads coming loose is there anything I can do to help hold the stitching in place? Is there a glue for this type of repair?

Agreed on IR Temp gun but with steam coming out of the thru hull pipes I'm pretty sure gauge and alarms are working as intended. Thanks for your thoughts on this issue.
