For some reason I think that mine was a 1998 but I will check. I also remember one other 38 fever being built with #6 drives. Mine had a pair of Merc 1000SC motors from the old Ohio Steel race boat...

I do not know if I am "qualified" or not...........but I was a Fountain dealer for 22 years. If I could buy a 2003-04 29 Fountain w/525 for 35-45K I would gladly take as many as I could find for that...

My personal 1998 32 went 118 on radar when I got it done. It is still owned by the person I sold it to in 1999 when I built the 38. great boat! Troy Dennis did the motors and it was a blast to drive!
