I ended up going with a custom cam, 245-250 and...

I ended up going with a custom cam, 245-250 and 650 lift. It pulls to 5500 rpm up here at 7000 da. I didn't Dyno it but probably should have I just ran out of money.

Just a little update here, The boat picked up 12 mph from a 502 mpi to the new 540, I'm happy and cant wait for the M4 and better drive.

I went to gapless in the street car and pan vacuum went down significantly and blow by from the vacuum pump did too. So I put them in the boat, 8 hours so far so good..

Yeah it's a 3cc relief. With the 502 rotating assembly it was .003 in the hole and now it's .005 out with the new stuff. If I go to a .051 gasket it will be 9.15:1 which is probably the right thing...
