All I said was springs were upgraded to that spring and that was not good yes I mentioned Marine Kinetics because that's what I was sold, that's got nothing to do with anything to be honest with you no matter where you buy the heads from someone might sell that as an upgrade the post was about those not being the right springs for an upgrade

Our buddy got afr 315 heads from Bob. Upgrade to inconel valves, and #8002 spring "upgrade", which are the cheaper PAC springs. They were for a 1000hp forced induction build.
Holy S#it! $3731 for a pair of assembled heads? Is that the going rate or high? Are those CNC'd or ported?

It's not a bad thing, if you've got the coin go for it. A true set of endurance springs can be 6-800 per set but if it gives you piece of mind maybe it's worth it. Just make sure the lifters and the rest of the valvetrain are up to the task.

315's are fully cnc'd. Dart, Trick Flow, and many others fully CNC'd are up there too.

Assembled heads that I now know need to come apart and be changed atbadditional cost, or should be...

I will never buy assembled again ever.

Yes , it shows the 8002 spring as the upgrade, he paid 29 dollars for that. I think at one time, afr listed that spring as a "pioneer" brand , but now its listed as the pac "1940" .

Im sure tool room springs would have been alot more money. If i recall, the 8002 "blue stripe" springs, were pioneers. The 8002 "green stripe" were pac 1940.
