Cam material

Built a mark4 496 with a cast Howard痴 hydraulic roller cam. Did some thinking and I知 wondering if it will be ok or do I absolutely have to have a billet cam? I知 not racing or running long ranges...

I知 assuming you ordered the right length push rods? The set screws are short so I wouldn稚 want them to stick out any. I壇 also say you might have to long of studs.

I know this is an old thread on these heads but I just ordered a set and I知 kinda stumped on valve length🤷‍♂️ It a says.250 long for intake and .100 long for exhaust. Is that what has been working...
