I think I would only put solid lifters in something that was a little easer to work on. Harley motor comes to mind. Then again if you were raceing your boat guess you take advantage of what you can.

I have an oil temp gage before cooler and after. I don't have to run that long a WOT to get the temps above 212 and then just back down and run for 20 min. maybe to boil her out. Wot I get 260*before...

I myself would go with the v6 on any modified motor as it will always improve the idle which will make for better vacuum signal and almost perfect idle jet adjustments.Also makes for great throttle...

If the grease is not in sight anywhere would lead me to believe you did not pack the trough full of grease on repack .also need some in the cap if bearing Buddy's are not used.

Yes on mine there is still some shaft left.My thought is the person at the factory that builds the things had a good lunch and had to much vitamin M for desert which can cause any thing from a slite...

Yes I did .checked everything that the group has said.talked to marc at bam then used a puller and moved the pully out.No problems.

You could allways use a cheaper one and if hight is a problem just use a palet and a pice of plywood to gain hight.For me the problem is not the removel but the install is where the takeing you time...
