Stupid question, but you are using the brass spacer that has splines after the prop?? There should be about 1/4" of spline after the prop for this piece,before the lock washer and nut.

pencil size leak at transom,close to cooling hose

I have an intermittent leak around where the suction hose attaches to the transom on a Bravo 1. It's a round stream as though coming from a hole for a screw or?
I have my exhaust blocked and sealed...

It could be. do you have an oil temp gauge? If your oil temp is low and esp if your water temp is low as well. Is your oil level rising? This means a big leak not condensate. Good luck.

I believe when I built my motors I removed the center bypass and left the outside one Factory at 11#. I have retraced my lines many times and the flow is from the outside on the block to the outside...

If so I am wondering which filter for 454 Gen 6 are made with synth material. I think the Mobil1 302 and the Delco PL35L. What is the difference in the Mobil1 301? Any others that will flow well...

BTW my remote adapter is the cheapo "not for marine" by transdapt or something. Just a a cast alum. piece with no moving parts. Funny thing is, ha ha, I remember they had the input and output...

I'm getting 55# at the filter cold and 27# when warm but no flow because the filter is COLD and I have bypassed the water around the cooler. I think my block has the center bypass out and the 11# one...

yes you can,spec gaskets. Felpro knows how,they make one for this. Call Summit and ask a tech for the right one,,,as a precation contact Fel pro and ask them as well.

Well, I took the drive off,checked the little hose,put tubing inside the big one and jumped to 30 PSI for one trip,then next time out zero again,,,zero all last year but exhaust riser,eng,etc is nice...
