I have driven a few Dominator's. They are nice rides.
Their acceleration is hard to beat! And they hold their own at top end too. They are just sooo hard to find and get.
Customer service is GREAT.

I had a 32 Dominator under contract last year.
Deal fell apart on engine and outdrive inspection.
So, I sold my Velocity.
I have CC proline and old hydrostream.
But, need the big boat for runs up...

Stormrider, I wish I could get away with 28 feet.
But, running the bay I need atleast 32 ft and 35ft is better.
The twins are for the long runs. Can limp home or to dock
with the kids in the boat.

(asked my Uncle. I think you live where I use to rent.Only boat on the street.)
Grew up on E Quincy Terrace. Still have 3 family members

I was looking at 32 ft boats. I have two small kids.
Speed is GREAT but I need some cabin space and
smooth ride.

I am looking at 1997-2000 boats with twins.
Some are 454's 330-385hp, 502-415hp,...

I have been told 500efi's burn valves every 250 hours.
Normal?

What other damage is done to motor when valve is burnt?
Thought Blue Motors were bullet proof.

I do not think so. Would he have had to pull them
to replace pump. Mechanic is GONE for two weeks so I am
shooting in the dark.

Yes, it does.

It is an 88 454 Magnum. I am pretty sure the fuel pump is
on the left side facing the engine.

Boat will hit high rpms when not in gear.
But under load, it gets to 4000 and then...

Mechanic replaced water pump on the front of 454 and now the boat has no rpms. Well, before the boat would turn 5000-5200 rpm's...Now it dies at 4400. Lost 10-14 mph and boat
