A friend of mine just bought a 2007 353 with 525 efi ITS drives. Can someone tell me what props are you using please. Pitch, diameter and blades.

I had the same problem once, it was that the mechanic's fault by putting the number 5 plug lead into the 7 and vice versa. Idle was fine, no power and it did backfire.

Thanks for the info. Yes it's 3.3/4 " to be exact below the pad with a -2 shorthy. But since the 525efi is stock the rev limiter is at 5250 rpm, so do you suggest i'll go for a 1.36 gear ratio???

It's only my opinion, but if he is changing power to 700's with NXT drives, why is he selling the drives without the gimbals!!!!! and if he gained 8mph and also handling, why isn't he keeping them...

I would check the oil cooler first, cause i had a friend of mine who had the same problem, and after we pulled the engine apart, we found that the oil cooler had a leak.
