Are the plugs I have too short or in some other way the wrong size. Just courious since I have come a cross a few threads mentioning that the Dart heads require a longer plug.

Thanks Checkmate, I called IMCO and they also mentioned that the resisance I feel when I turn the prop by hand should be about the same. They suggested I bring it by for and they would look at it...

Thanks for the comment on the A/F ratio. When you say "air bleeds are to big" do you mean the secondary jets are too small. I replaced the 82's in the primaries with 86's and have a set...

I think I will be looking to prop for about 5400-5500 RPM under a lite load. I am mainly looking for a good cruise speed at 3600-4000 RPM. This is why i am asking about a 5-blade.

Forgot to mention that I am running an 24' Eliminator Daytona with a built up 454 making ~475 to 500HP. I'm looking for the best cruise speed at 3500rpm to 3800rpm but still want to run 72mph+.
