I have the KE unit, lays on 212 at cruise, goes up a little at WOT. Didn't have any mearsurable oil temp before thermostat install.

Union Ironworker with a small fab shop on side, build most anything out of steel, with stainless being a specialty, drive showers,anchors,T drain plugs, and T plugs with oil drain cap and heavy duty...

The chine walk is not really an issue, it's very slight and only on smooth water. I was just wondering is if there was any speed to be gained. The best prop so far is a Rev 4, 23 p with a 1.36, tried...

Anyone removed a hook (that had one) and seen a difference on a nonstep 27 Fever. And how much of a hook did you have? I seem to have a very slight one, almost immeasurable. But I get a little chine...

I ran a 509 blower motor for prob 9 years with very little water or oil temps, finnally lost a cam lobe with a 2nd going. The only thing I can attribute this to is a small amount of condensation...

Go-fast .com has a nice power speed calc if you know the weight , gps speed and slip.I did it on my 27, it said it required 575 hp propshaft to move 5700 lbs to 80 mph.

I'm running the 731 in a 510/250 BM with 2 x 750. Perfect cam in my opinon, will idle for long periods with no problems, has a good sound, and all pulls strong through 5600 rpm.

Congrats on the sale Jerry, I had a forward gear break once about a mile from the dock. Thought I was going to back all the way to the dock, no dice. It would go for a while, then just go in circles.

I have one on a 27 Fever, 23p, best prop I've triied so far. Talked to York twice now about labbing this prop, he wasn't to big on doing it. He said they are a pretty efficient prop out of the box.
